Faith Christian Center Mission Statement To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the inner city. To teach those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to grow in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. To establish the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Earth: self, family, church, community and city (Rochester) Heaven: without resistance To take capitivity through spirtual warfare against principalities and princes, etc., to set the captives free. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he lived, died and rose from the dead; to provide for all who will accept it, forgiveness of sins and eternal life. We believe the Bible is God's Word and is, therefore, completely true and trustworthy. We have no creed or statement of faith other than the Bible, which is our ultimate rule and authority for everything we teach and do. Faith Christian Center exists to honor God by attracting and leading people to faith in Christ, connecting them in meaningful relationships, developing them to Christ-like maturity and love for one another and empowering them for service in the church and a life mission in the world. Faith Christian Center is an independent congregation not associated with any denomination. Our desire is to simply follow the example of the New Testament church in our doctrine, worship and organizational structure. While we are not the only Christians, we are Christians only.
